Burroughs (Print) Advertisements
The following is a sample of Burroughs print advertisements over the years for a variety of products. Print advertisements are critical research tools for collectors because they are almost always in dated periodicals, and they tend to document new products being introduced to the market.

An additional common form of advertising when mechanical machines were being made were blotters. While blotters had been used for many years, the widespread use of blotters for advertising reached a peak in about the 1930's. Many different ink blotters advertisements were produced over the years by Burroughs, and some carried markings or stampings for local branches or reseller organizations.

An excellent place to start a collection of advertisements is by searching Ebay.
